Isabelle always knew that working with animals was in her career. She got her Certificate of Veterinary Assistant in 2020. She loves all animals but cats and raccoons hold a special place in her heart. On her free time, she loves to volunteer fostering any animal in need.

Dr. Sanghera is originally from Canada and is a second generation Veterinarian. He grew up working at his fathers clinic since he was in middle school, This inspired him to become a veterinarian. Dr. Sanghera attended Cal Poly Pomona for his undergraduate studies and St. Georges University for Veterinarian school. He completed his clinical training at the University of Florida. Dr. Sanghera enjoys treating cats and dogs from young to old. Dr. Sanghera purchased California Veterinary Hospital in 2010. When not working at the clinic, Dr. Sanghera enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and three pets.

Dr. Sukhmani Bhullar grew up in India and South Africa. She moved to L.A in 2010 to pursue her career in veterinary medicine after graduating at the age of 21. She is a second generation veterinarian. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, working out and spending time with her friends and family.

In 2008 Jennifer studied nursing at a local college. Soon after, she discovered that was not her passion. Having many hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs in her lifetime made her realize how much love she has for animals. Jennifer went back to school to become a vet assistant and got her certification. Soon after she began volunteering and got hired at Cal Vet Hospital. "I wouldn't want to work anywhere else".

Michelle has been working at California Vet Hospital since 2007. She started out as our kennel assistant to tech. She attended Pierce college RVT program. She has a special interest in Dentistry and has been here since day one. Working with animals has been her passion ever since she can remember. She also has her own rescue group where she rescues homeless and unwanted dogs. Michelle has three dog's roscoe, Kobe, maggie and an Iguana named valentine, although she loves working with animals her number one joy is spending time with her three beautiful daughters.

Cristal grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. She attended community college to study psychology, but when she rescued 2 kittens that's when she knew working with animals was her calling. In January 2017 she got her certificate for Veterinary assistant, her internship hours was performed here. Soon after she became part of our team. Cristal enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs Max the newfoundland mix and Ivy the lab mix. She has a special place in her heart for stray kittens.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

This is a blood test that is run here in the clinic prior to surgery. It tests the organ functions, blood counts and clotting function of your pet. The pre-anesthetic blood screening is done to assure safety during surgery and the ability to heal following surgery.

Procedures involving sutures require them to be removed in 14 days following the surgery.

No, there is no advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However there are plenty of advantages to having you pet spayed or neutered. These advantages include decreasing the chances of breast tumors later in life, decreasing the chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life, decreasing the desire to roam the neighborhood, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer later in life, helping prevent spraying and marking, and also decreases the surplus of unwanted puppies and kittens.
